The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff includes new features and NPCs, such as Santa Claus, who will arrive at night when there are Santa cookies and a Christmas tree located near a fireplace. Sims can also throw a New Year's Bash (regardless of date, it can be celebrated any day); the difference between throwing a normal house party is that the New Year's Bash will always start at 8 PM and Father Time will come at 11 PM. This party must be thrown between 7 PM and 8 PM; otherwise, the police will shut down the party at 11 PM. Oddly, it also seems to have an expansion pack icon rather than a stuff pack one. Sims cannot throw a New Year's Bash in an apartment lot.

The Sims 2: Glamour Life Stuff Pack 3

our Sims can now indulge in a glamorous life with this collection of luxurious furniture, fashionable clothing, and extravagant décor items*. The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff Pack 2

The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff mainly focuses on objects for children's bedrooms including a castle themed bedroom and an underwater themed bedroom. Also included is an upscale living room set, which features a nautical theme. Several new outfits are available for every age group, while kids have the most including new PJ's, Swimwear, and more. The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff also includes a few new pre-made houses and several new songs under the "Pop" section of the radio sung by the famous band Barenaked Ladies.

The Sims 2: Christmas Party STUFF PACK 1

There's Something Wrong here: at the time of writing it's the beginning of December and you won't be reading this until the beginning of January, by which time The Sims 2: Christmas Party Pack will have completed its sole mission of boldly taking up a whole bloody shelf in every games store across the planet and finding its way into the Christmas stockings of young Sims fans, via undiscerning mothers who simply don't know any better.
Simply put, I'm powerless to stop this expansion selling - come to think of it, I could have reviewed this expansion in July and it still wouldn't have any effect on its sales. Reviewing Sims expansions is like attacking a tank with a chickenstuffing sandwich - you just can't make a dent.
Anyway, for your tenner you get 40 Christmas objects, a bit of Santa, some Father Time (for New Year's), a penny and a receipt which proves you're a chump. Most of the objects can be downloaded from The Sims 2 website anyway, so you're being shafted left, right and centre.
This is a veritable spit-roast of shaftage - why not buy something nice for an elderly relative instead? Or adopt a dog or some unfortunate orphan with a disease? I must admit though, I laughed when my single father who'd scraped the bottom of his wallet for a Christmas tree had it burn down in an accident which claimed his son's life. Merry Christmas everyone.
